The Green Parrot to Host Vinyl Record Fair

The Green Parrot Bar will host their first-ever Vinyl Record Fair
Vinyl collectors and crate-diggers are invited to come and buy, sell or trade their vinyl.
As an added attraction, from Miami,  DJ Le Spam of the Spam Allstars will be spinning records all afternoon  from his own extensive collection of Retro R & B, Vintage Miami R & B, Old-School Reggae, as well as Latin, African and Brazilian recordings.
The event,  to benefit the Bahama Village Music Program and sponsored by Dogfish Head Brewery,  the official sponsors of National Record Store Day, gives beer-loving audiophiles an opportunity to  spend Sunday afternoon guzzling Dogfish Head’s exceptional brews as well as listening to great vinyl.
As a part of the fundraiser The Bahama Village Music Program will be selling vinyl at their own booth and Dogfish Head will be raffling off  a brand new Crosley turntable, all to benefit the Music Program. We also ask that anyone who has any vinyl to donate please bring any records you have to The Green Parrot anytime between now and the event.
An abbreviated version of Green Parrot Sunday Jazz from noon to 1:30 will precede the event and The Record Fair will be followed by a regular Green Parrot Soundcheck featuring Bill Blue from 5:30 to 7 pm.
