Posted On:Here’s what the boys from Papa Grows Funk had to say on their web site message board about their upcoming visit on Saturday and Sunday January 18th and 19th: “Happy Holidays from John, Marc, June, Russell, Peter and Jason.It’s hard to imagine that 2004 is winding down. We’ll be finishing out the year next week in South Florida. This will be no parrothead trip, just one helluva funky throwdown especially the two nights at The Green Parrot. Hope to see some Degenerates, Fess Heads and Pet de Kats amongst the dancers.”
Kudos to Fossum who has been dogged in his pursuit to book these guys. And now…in the words of Houseman when he took the Parrot stage with Galactic a few years back “..it’s time to Funk It Up”.
