Kido
Posted On:This sculpture appeared recently in front of the new Key West weather station. It’s the work of local artist Rick Worth. I guess it’s part of an art in public places program that is long overdue in a place with so many creative people. This oversized pooch is a whimsical study of Rick’s now departed three-legged dog Kido who seems poised for a game of keep away with anyone coming to the front door.
Rick’s a regular at our sidewalk art shows and besides being a great artist he’s one of our all around favorite people
