The Green Parrot/Sailor Jerry monthly Drink and Draw Night is held in the back bar of The Green Parrot with a different guest-host artist each month.
Already into its second sketchy year, The Green Parrot and Sailor Jerry monthly Drink and Draw Night is basically a social group of sketchers and doodlers, and not a class, there is no fee and artists of all skill levels are invited to join us. It’s a relaxing meet-up for artists of all skill levels,
There are no pretensions, no prerequisites, and newcomers are always welcome so be sure to invite your friends.Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
If you are simply an admirer of art and would prefer just to stay for the beer, please feel free to join us just to relax and view what amounts to a running exhibition of spontaneously-created, original art.
You may bring a sketchbook, pens, and paper with you, or if you come empty-handed, not to worry, as pencils, pens and paper can be provided.
It’s a day for community and visitors alike to come together, enjoy a cold beer or two in appreciation of all artists At the end of the day people want to have fun, and experience enjoyment and good times that comes from mixing art and spirits! And to be candid, If you want to camouflage your desire for a night-out and few cocktails as the pursuit of art, we are happy to provide cover.
