A reminder that on Friday, September 22nd the Green Parrot will celebrate its 29th Annual Tradesman’s Appreciation Day, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

To mark the occasion we will again issue our laminated Tradesman and Tradeswoman Passes, complete with name, photo, occupation and authorization.

Besides being a proudly coveted Parrot souvenir to let casually slip out of your wallet with your credit card, rambling Key West tradesmen and tradeswomen have also begun using the card as their go-to photo ID!
They’re free, and remember, you don't even need a job to get one.

We continue the celebration with a showing of rare archival footage from the first Tradesman’s Day.

Our celebration is about all the workers of Key West, from the cab driver to the bartender, the server, the baker, the truck driver and all those working on our island, as well as the traditional tradesmen, the carpenter, plumber, roofer and electrician.
We love you all!
