Many thanks to Pat and Howard, who visited The Green Parrot in December and were so impressed with our Little Free Library that they cared enough to take the time to carefully select, pack, and ship a box of books to share.
Pat is a teacher and so has a special place in her heart for books, especially books for young adults, of which she included many. They also noted that seeing homeless folks in Key West they wanted to share with them as well.
This is truly an act of love and kindness and from all of us here, we thank them.
We now have a Young Adult Shelf that we can be proud of. If we ever add a wing to our Little Free Library you can be sure their name will be on the cornerstone. #greenparrotbar #greenparrotlittlefreelibrary #littefreelibrary #thankateacher
