The Bobby Lee Rodgers Trio returns to The Green Parrot stage with shows at 10 p.m. on Friday, December 4th, and 5:30 and 10 p.m. on Saturday, Saturday, December 5th.
A stellar songwriter, vocalist and guitarist, Bobby Lee Rodgers, whose music has been described as a mix of jazz, rock, blues, bluegrass and funk with improvised jams being the main theme in their live performances.
Some of their unique sound comes from their use of a rotating Leslie cabinet, pictured in the foreground, used for Rodgers’ guitar. Rodgers’ high level of playing has attracted luminaries like guitarist Jimmy Herring (Phil Lesh, The Dead) and Hubert Sumlin (Howlin’ Wolf), who have toured with him. Other guests include the Allman Brothers’ Derek Trucks & Warren Haynes, Phish’s Mike Gordon, Susan Tedeschi, jazz pianist Art Lande, Joe Craven (Psychograss/David Grisman Quintet) and violin giant Vassar Clements. #greenparrotbar #bobbyleerodgers
