Last night The Weekly Newspaper announced that The Green Parrot was voted Best Live Music Venue in Key West in their recent Best of Key West Poll.
As I hold the award today, pictured behind me are our Sunday Jazz ensemble, representing just a few of the many, many musicians, local and otherwise, who mount our stage and continue to weave music into the cultural fabric of Key West, I thank them, without them this honor would not have been possible.
I would as well extend our appreciation to musicians everywhere, for continuing to delight us, and inspire and enrich our lives.
I’d like to also thank all our staff here for their professionalism, and making The Parrot such a welcoming, warm environment for our patrons to enjoy such great music, and thanks to those patrons, the best anywhere, for their loyalty, enthusiasm, and passion for music, and for making the musicians feel so welcome and appreciated that they cannot help but deliver their best performances each time they step out on our stage
We promise to remain your “The Southernmost Center for Culture of All Kinds” and will continually strive to make the entertainment at The
