Hot 8 tore up the joint last night, I fully expect to find a crater on the corner this morning instead of a bar!
From covering Marvin Gaye’s Sexual Healing to drawing the whole room into a call and responce of Snoop Dog’s “Yipee aye Yippe oh”, to belting out New Orleans staples like “Feel Like Funkin’ it Up” and Yes, even the “Saints” The Hot 8 took the Green Parrot lifted it up, spun it around and placed it right down squarely in New Orleans till each person in The Parrot felt they were themeselves leading The Zule Krewe in A Mardi Gras parade on Rampart Street
