PARROT TALK

This card came in today’s mail. A Greeting for all of us Parrot folk from Alligator Records artist Guitar Shorty. Shorty is well known for his classic blues licks and his stage acrobatics. He also is reknowned as Jimi Hendrix brother-in-law and for winning the Gong Show. In addition he is a fine and gentle man. I remember him as the guy who called me up from somewhere on the road, trying to find his way to Key West and asked, “John, where am I?”. I told him, “Shorty, I don’t know, look out the window.”
