Thanks Again to Bookleggers for Supporting The Green Parrot Little Free Library

I’d like to thank Nathaniel Sandler of Bookleggers, the Miami-based, mobile, pop-up public library. who recently donated a trove of quality books to The GP Little Free Library. And special thanks to my son Nick and his wife Ingrid who delivered the volumes down to us from Miami.

In the few short months since it was dedicated, The Green Parrot Little Free Library, with the help of people like Nick Vagnoni, Nathaniel Sandler, Arlo Haskell,
Lori Kelly, Nan Klinenger and Mark Heddon, has increasingly become part of the fabric of our neighborhood for all to enjoy.
It has become a surprise-amenity for passersby, book-loving travelers, who, stumbling upon it, have taken the opportunity to either swap-out or snag some new literature.
Often it serves simply as a photo-op for the curious tourist, often followed by the comment, “Oh, I’ve heard about these”, or “When I get home, I’m going to ask my husband to build me one”.
The new volumes were stamped and filled our shelves quite nicely
