Gary Blodgett: First Place Contemporary Fiddle

Gary Blodgett, a local guitar and banjo picker, took his division by storm.
Though he hasn’t played the fiddle that long, what he did was select classic and easily recognizable fiddle tunes, play them with gusto and a ton of stage presence, and use what was easily the best sound equipment in the room to get the sound he was looking for.
He deserves a lot of credit on all those counts and we sure hope to see him again.
