Since this Elvis/Hemingway thing has been crying out for some kind of closure for the past fifty years I wanted to rush home and get the pictures from the event posted ASAP. Prior to the Slapdown however, I had stopped by Buco’s Waterfront Market and picked up a fresh whole yellowtail just the right size for the grill. I got home hungry as a bear and decided to put that fish over the coals before I did anything else. As you can see, with some grilled fennel, some thai dressing and some tortillas, it was a fine dish and precluded any extensive blogging of the Elvis/Hemingway event. There will be pictures of the slapdown soon, but not tonight.
