Fathead

This one goes back a few years.
This would be Fathead, from Philadelphia…. a free-spirited, funk/jazz/hip-hop thing, with horns and two rappers.
They came highly recommended by my nephew Chris Vagnoni and rightly so.
They returned more than once; always to great reviews.
I recall Chris and Herb out front, Pete on Guitar and john on sax, my apologies to whomever I left out, all great guys, sound engineer notwithstanding.
We have not had anything quite like them before or since.
That would be me up there with the rappers.
I seem to remember thinking as if the universe was going to collapse in on itself like a black hole…but it didn’t.
