Eric Garcia’s Juke, Return to The Parrot Stage

Juke, The Blues Brothers of Miami, Return to The Parrot Stage

With Eric Garcia’s growling vocals and vicious harmonica, Juke brings their groove-based blues/trance to The Green Parrot stage with shows on Friday and Saturday, June 27th and 28th at 5:30 and 10 p.m.

Juke’s style has captivated audiences in South Florida and Southern California for years, with Garcia’s vocals and Evan Lamb’s blazing guitar soul leading this 4-piece juggernaut, with Rodrigo Zambrano on bass and Ulysees Perez on drums. It’s “not your uncle’s blues. It’s dirty, it’s raw, it’s real, and it makes you feel.”

Juke is the next generation of a “Darker Blues”, stockpiling groove-based originals that tell stories of pain, loss, love, and redemption. Mexico City, Norway, Miami, Costa Rica, Nashville and Mississippi rush through the veins and influences of this eclectic band’s culture, heritage and beats. The band was just signed by Sawgrass Records (Los Angeles) and is working on their new album, In No Mood.

Clever lyrics about modern topics and a take-no-prisoners live show have made Juke’s shows impossible to forget.
