Dangermuffin  Brings Genre-Bending Roots-Rock Americana to Parrot Stage

Casting  a fresh perspective on American roots music, the Folly Beach, South Carolina-based  trio Dangermuffin will appear at The Green Parrot with shows at 5:30 and 9 p.m on Thursday. March 24th.

Anchored by the thought-provoking lyrical wit of songwriter Dan Lotti and framed by Nashville-veteran percussionist Steven Sandifer and fluid lead guitarist Mike Sivilli. Dangermuffin brings a new level of groove to Americana music—a punchy, folk-jam pastry with a sweet-toothed soul of the south.

Easy, breezy melodies and soul-shaking grooves radiate from this genre-bending roots trio. Dangermuffinbrings thoughtful tunes that are both heartfelt and truthful. Their haunting harmonies and go-with-the-flow vibe invite listeners to kick back, relax, and be consumed by the ethereal rhythmic backbone and inspiring messages Dangermuffin has to offer. Lyrically, they evoke themes of self-discovery, ancient knowledge, and true awareness, all within a unique and casual approach.
