Braille Blues Daddy Bryan Lee Returns to Green Parrot

Posted On:

As some may recall, legendary  Bourbon Street Bluesman Bryan Lee
had to cancel his last Parrot gig to appear on The Tonight Show with
Jay Leno. Bryan has a great affection for Parrot patrons and  he
promised that when he did return to our stage he would deliver a show
we would not forget!

Well that show is coming up when Bryan returns to the Green Parrot for
two big nights on Saturday and Sunday, October 13th and 14th,
beginning at 10 PM, with a special 5:30 PM ‘sound check” on Sunday
afternoon.

A New Orleans fixture, and for years the only blues band visitors
to New Orleans would hear was vocalist/guitarist Bryan Lee at the Old
Absinthe House on Bourbon Street. Blind since childhood, his style
never really strayed from his mid-west sensibilities, making him the
most Chicago-sounding band in town as his Jump Street Five played
blues
five nights a week at that popular bar, developing a huge following
and a solid reputation.
.    For brilliant blues guitar and soul-filled vocals don’t miss
Bryan Lee,  the Braille Blues Daddy this Thursday and Friday at the
Green Parrot and  his Jay Leno appearance is available on Bryan’s
website http://www.braillebluesdaddy.com/home.html.
