Bats

This post has absolutely nothing to do with the bar.
What we have here is part of the navy property in Key West about a block from my house, specifically an old battery or gunnery position, which is that hill to the right. To the left of the hill and the tower, what looks like a cloud, are thousands of bats swarming in the night. It was pretty amazing. This was the best I could do to record it, but take my word for it, it was impressive. If I was a more skilled photographer and had a tripod I could have done better, but it’s not like they’re not gonna be there again.
