Barry Cuda Brings NOLA Roots, Blues, to Parrot

Expect thing to go along swimmingly when  the blues-roots acoustic trio Barry Cuda and The Sharks take the Green Parrot stage with shows at 5:30, 9:00 & 11:00 on Thursday August 2nd.
Look for pianist Barry Cuda, accompanied by trumpeter/flugelhornist Kenny Fradley (a former Kid Creole and Celia Cruz sideman), and drummer Mick Kilgos, to play tunes from  a set-list drawn from an archival assortment of  early 20th century New Orleans roots-blues, 1940’s jump-blues, and 1950’s rockabilly, as well as Cuban and Andalusian piano.
As a versatile solo pianist for the past 30-plus years, Barry Cuda has made himself easily recognizable to locals  by pushing his acoustic piano from gig to gig down the streets of Old Town Key West, and has amassed a small fortune on the way by playing 2-3 gigs a day, often singing songs bawdy enough to make even tourists on our own Duval Street blush.
