Albert Castiglia/Graham Drout Sunday Soundcheck or “No Cover, No Minimum, No Wanda”Posted On:
Albert and Graham put on one of the most memorable sounchecks yet.
To say they connected with the audience is an understatement. The combination of their virtuosity, their choice of material and their warmth made for a great musical experience. Today’s eclectic set list included some Dylan, “Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues” and “Like a Rolling Stone”, some Hank Williams, Van Morrison and The Band, then some Hendrix on request, and then ripped through the best cover of The Byrds “Hey Mr. Spaceman” since The Holy Modal Rounders..

Wanda feels comfotable enough to get onstage, wish Whitey another Happy Birthday, and declare again her true love for her man. Albert, on behalf of all present, seconds that emotion.
