Juice Frontman, Dave Jordan Brings Neighborhood Improvement Association to Parrot Stage
For 15 years and counting, Jordan has trafficked in high-octane, high-impact funk-rock as the bassist, singer and primary songwriter one of New Orleans’ most popular bands, Juice.
Late last year he formed Dave Jordan & the Neighborhood Improvement Association and he brings them to The Green Parrot with shows at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday June 4th, 6:00 and 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday June 5th and 6th, and at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday June 7th.
Dave Jordan & the Neighborhood Improvement Association cover the spectrum of American roots music, from Bo Diddley to Bob Dylan and until recently, they hadn’t ventured out of New Orleans.
The Neighborhood Improvement Association includes Johny Sketch and The Dirty Notes members violinist Harry Hardin and drummer Andre Bohren, along with guitarist/bassist Greg “Wolf” Hodges and bassist Will Repholz.
