Fantasy Fest at The Parrot
October 17 - 26, 1997
Once you get a load of Fantasy Fest '97, this is one channel you're not going to want to switch! Join the thousands of masked and costumed revelers as they converge on Key West for our greatest party of the year. And, the partying fools at The Green Parrot are right in focus again this year with some wild events suitable only for cable TV.
While you can enjoy festivities at the Parrot all week (all year, for that matter), our first Official Fantasy Fest event is our Happy Daze Costume Party on Thursday, October 23, at 9pm. This is not a costume contest, but a big ol' costume party! There'll be great live music by Key West Soul Party, drink specials, and great fun. We'll be rockin' around the clock with lots of Fonzies, Richies, greasers, and chicks - the works. Let it loose, baby, and get into the fun of the once-sinful rock 'n roll way of life.

Once again, and by the light of day, we'll be hosting the Epidermal Art and Torso Tapestries Contest. Yes, this would be your basic body painting contest, complete with prizes and surprizes. We'll have some body painters on hand to transform you into your own fantasy! Be daring, or not, but be there, Saturday afternoon, October 26, at 3.
How convenient for us that the Coors Light Fantasy Fest Parade begins just two blocks away, making the turn at our corner! Leave the remote control at home and join this spectacle of floats, costumes, and music - all with the convenience of being right outside The Green Parrot!
